Milwaukee Art Museum

The Milwaukee art museum is in the china and the summer exhibitions in the year 2011 runs from the 11th day of the month of June to September. During the show there are several activities which took place to entertain the visitors while others visit the museum to participate in the festival where by the traditional dances, acrobatics, Chinese fork music, are performed. The young ones participate in the crafts making, dragon parade, playing traditional games and training how to write and speak Chinese. The artifacts on the Qianlong emperor shows the historical rulers who was influential to Buddhism and morals which were Confucius. Having beauty artifacts surrounding the emperor is evidence that emperors are respected and it means a lot for one to be an emperor. Decoration of the rooms and having the calligraphy written in the emperors own hand is an evidenced that emperors are respected in the china.

Chinese poetry

The Chinese poetry had great influence to the show as the portrait of the poets could be painted in different colors. The contemporary Chinese poet could be painted to provide the poetry in a visible manner. This shows how the Chinese are proud of their talent and how they feel in preserving what is there for the future. The fact that the Ma a poet claims that by 2017 she needs to have painted 100 contemporally poetry it shows how dedicated the poet in the country are in making the Milwaukee art museum to be appealing to many people.  Poetry has assisted in the spread of Confucianism and Buddhism in the china. It has also enhanced the Chinese culture in the country. Chinese poetry will also help in the schools as the students will feel that it is very good and interesting to take the poetry as it can be an attraction to people in the next future. The poetry is also used to show respect to the great emperors in the country as they could write the poem in his monument and paint it.

Symbols of imperial power

China is known to be the most populous country in the world. Dragon was used to show the symbol of power though currently is used as a symbol of the Chinese birth nation. Dragon dance was used for asking rain from God. The symbols of the imperial power show how the china was powerful and how their leaders were symbolic to the animals used in their monuments. For example, a snake, rat, or an ox, as they are used to show the traits of the leaders. They also show the achievement of the people who did the fine art as they are written beneath the monument. This is very essential as the person will be recognized as they recognize the leaders.(www.time.com)

European influence on China.

The European had great influence to the china as they enlightened them in doing several things. Making of the furniture and painting is also evidenced in the china as they learned it from the Europeans. In the museum there is the instance of the European influence in the murals, furniture and screens which is evidence that the Europeans had great impact in the Chinese arts and paintings. In the museum there are European field which shows that the Chinese appreciate what the Europeans did to them as it was of great impact to them.

Buddhist beliefs.

Buddhism is the major religion in the china. Buddhism has different sects and it took time to be the major religion in the country due to the freedom of belief in the country. There was the Buddhists statue which shows how they had a very great chance in enhancing the religion in the country and how the Buddhists product in the market could gain the customers very fast than the non Buddhists products. This was the most fascinating area as it is fanny on how the religion could affect the product market in the country. Buddhist statues like wood carving, bronze statue, porcelain statue and stone carving made a very attraction site in the museum. The instruments used by the Buddhists were also displayed like furniture’s and prayer beads this showed how the religion is playing the great role in enhancing the countries economy as they form an attraction site as their instruments and the products are very attractive.

Chinese calligraphy.

The art of writing is mostly used in the Chinese exhibition. It occupies an important role in the Chinese traditional arts. It is not only the means of communication but also the means of entertaining. Calligraphy is used to show the literary talent of different people especially with kids who train how to write words in different forms. It was also practiced by the elder people as the emperor Qianlong left several hand written calligraphy which is in the museum for exhibition. Use of the calligraphy in the museum has made the Chinese identify the individual talents and have it be seen by others to appreciate them. It has also made the emperor to be remembered for the calligraphy he made long time ago.

Craftsmanship of furniture & artifacts.

Craftsmanship in china is very excellent as they have the crafts which are very attractive and of different variety. The different animals’ sculptures were very good especially to the tourists. The Chinese are talented in the craftsmen of furniture and artifacts as the visitors feel attracted to their art product very much. Chinese exhibition was one of the most excellent exhibitions I have ever attended.
